...PATCHY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING...
Patchy dense fog, reducing visibility to 1/4 mile or less, can be
expected across mainly the foothills and mountain valleys of the
western Carolinas and northeast Georgia this morning. Motorists
traveling along I-40 through western North Carolina, I-26 from
the Spartanburg area through western North Carolina, I-85 through
the Greenville-Spartanburg area, as well as other roads and
highways across the region should be prepared roe sudden loss of
visibility. Slow down, use low beam headlights, and allow plenty
of distance between yourself and other vehicles. The fog should
burn off by 900 AM in most areas.
